The Lebanese Student's Association of McGill is organizing a Lebanese Movie Night on Thursday, October 12th, at the LEV BUCKMAN room on the second floor of the SSMU building. Entrance will be free of charge in order to celebrate their first of many events of the year, and snacks will be available at the back of the projection room.
The movie will be 'Le Cerf- Volant' It is in the Lebanese arabic dialect, but we made sure that we got English subtitles so you could invite your non-Lebanese friends to the event.
The screening will start at around 5h00 pm. Places are however limited! If you would like to secure a seat, please send an email to the Lebanese Association ( mcgill.lsa@gmail.com) so that they reserve a ticket for you at the entrance. Otherwise you could come to the door and get a ticket there as long as there are still some left. They unfortunately cannot guaranty you a free seat unless you email them first.

How was it ? Did anyone go and watch this movie ? I ended up not going... I saw the clip and it looked really similar to the Syrian Bride ... is it ?
I found the clip similar to the syrian bride too! i didn't go but a friend of mine said that it may look the same but it is a different stroy. it is more in the imagination of the young girl rather than a real story. she said it is a good movie worth watching.
