
Canadians for Peace and Justice in the Middle East will this month host Dr. Naseer Aruri as the keynote speaker at their upcoming meeting on Tuesday, November 28th. See the invitation to the event below:
Mr. Aruri was a close friend of the late Edward Said, as well as the author of many books, including “Dishonest Broker: The U.S. Role in Israel and Palestine.” Professionally, Dr. Aruri is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts
So please join us Tuesday, Nov. 28th, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the LCHA offices (see directions below) to hear Dr. Naseer Aruri present, “The ‘Peace Process’ and Proposals for Justice in Palestine”: A sceptical look at the road traveled by the Palestinians the past 60 years, and a discussion of possible options for justice in Palestine in 2006.

From the Metro: Take the Orange line, direction Cote Vertu, and get off at the “de la Savane” metro station. Mona El Tahawy will be at Concordia giving a lecture titled "Media
Treatment of the Arab, post 9/11" on Tuesday November 21st at 8:30 pm.

Mona is an award-winning New York-based journalist and commentator.
