A talk followed by Q&A period by Dr. Saad Eddin Ibrahim.
Dr. Ibrahim is professor of sociology at the American University in Cairo, and founder and director of the Ibn Khaldoun Center for Development Studies. He is also one of the leading democracy activists in the Middle East. He was imprisoned by the Egyptian government in 2000-03 for his human rights activities.
Dr. Ibrahim is regarded by many global citizens as a hero of human rights and democracy in the Middle East.
